1.Q:  What Command Set is used for the Instruments?

 A: SCPI commands are used to control the unit.


2.  Q:On the website that Rigol produce a USB to GP-IB interface adapter. If it is possible to use this adapter with the USB connection in the PC and the GP-IB connection in the instrument to be controlled?

A: The adapter connects the USB part to the instrument not the Pc. It is used to equip the Rigol instrument with GPIB interface.


3. Q: I've tried using print screen to capture screen shots on to a USB but it's not recording it on the USB Stick.      Why?

 A:  It most likely is the USB Stick. Try using a different brand.  Rigol products are a bit finicky about the USB Sticks they accept.  If you are still having issues contact us and we will help.


4. Q: How can I capture the trigger rate of the DS4000 Oscilloscope.

A:  Please view the Rigol Application note under the documents tab  titled " How do I capture the trigger rate of the DS4000 Oscilloscopes?


 5. Q: We've got Agilent and Tektronix scopes.  Will our probes work with the Rigol units?

A:  Some of the probes for Tektronix and Agilent or Keysight do work with the Rigol oscilloscopes.  There is also a TEK adapter available for purchase. .  Please advise what probes you are using and we can advise if you'll be able to use  them with the Rigol scopes.
